The sea turned angry...Cayuga Lake jigging

We spent a great day on Cayuga Lake yesterday. It was my first time on the lake and boy was it beautiful. We had the great pleasure of fishing with renounce jigging expert John Gualke

I have fished a lot of water in my day, but John did with us was pretty remarkable. John put us on lake trout jigging his patented technique using these gigantic jigs. Well, if I had not experienced it first hand, I would have been very suspect of his technique...but it really works great!!! We landed 4 and had lots of hits. The wind came up very abruptly to about 20 mph and the lake turned very snotty. We put on the Type 1 life jackets and made a very wet and bumpy ride back to the launch.
