Chautauqua Lake Musky Hunters Club

I was disheartened to learn that the CLMH Club had dissolved recently. Mike Sperry and the other club officers did a great job for 5+ years. It has to be incredibly difficult to run a traditional club in today's world of extreme demands for peoples' time. I enjoyed writing the newsletter, and was going to pick it back up once I was done with my dissertation next spring. This club had a good mission, and was run by good folks who are excellent musky fisherman. Hopefully this club will only be dissolved for a short period. These are some pictures I have from when I was writing the news letter...the first one is the well published photo of the Chautauqua Lake Hatchery crew holding a monster musky. The second historical photo is of the hatchery crew netting the muskys. The CLMH were good stewards for muskys on Chautauqua Lake and their efforts will be missed.
