A day on Lake Ontario proved to be a lot of fun. My good friend and I spent a morning on his boat north of Lyndonville, NY. Water temp was 64 degrees and we used an array of green/wiote Taco Flies and
Northern King spoons. Between 60 and 80 feet of water proved to be the hot spot with Kings, Browns and Cohos all mixed up. I never saw more clouds of bait fish than I saw on this day. Early in the morning the baitfish were vertically stretched 40ft long, but by noon they were horizontal along the bottom. We caught 2 browns, 2 kings, and a coho. A big one ran the drag out and snapped the line...bet it was a big king.
